Children and Real Estate

Re-blogged 0 times I had just finished a listing presentation when the mother said to me:"We'll never sell our house, my kids won't keep it clean, it will always be a mess" and on an on.

I asked her that if she sat down and spoke with them and asked for their help, would they comply? "No way, they can be so difficult" she said.

That evening when I got home, I emailed her this little collection of quotes"

Some Thoughts About Children ....

"What is a home without children?"

Quiet.        Henny Youngman

"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about."

               Angela Schwindt

"The quickest way for a parent to get a child's attention is to sit down and look comfortable".

                Lane Olginghouse

"Human beings are the only creatures that allow their children to come home."

                       Bill Cosby

"A boy becomes an adult three years before his parents think he does, and about two years after he thinks he does".

I got a call from her 2 days later, listed her house and sold it in 9 days! And you know what, the house was spotless for those 9 days!

I asked her what had changed. She said that the few quotes that I had sent reminded her that she loved her kids, they loved her and perhaps if she changed her attittude her children may too!
